customized CFC Rack for Titanium turbine blades some years ago for a high-end HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) process for Rolls-Royce. So, there is the connection to the aircraft engine.
Below you see the CFC Fixture for that vacuum process. The entire process is confidential, so we can't provide more details.
In general, CFC is extremely lightweight and strong at high temperatures. Additionally, there is no shrinkage or aging, and the dimensions and forms remain precisely the same over years due to a very low C.T.E value (coefficient of thermal expansion).
